By using ParentalView ("the Service"), you agree to the following terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
ParentalView is a parental control tool that helps parents monitor and manage their children's YouTube viewing. It consists of a Chrome browser extension (installed on the child's device) and a web-based dashboard (used by the parent). The Service uses AI to analyze video content against parent-defined rules.
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create a ParentalView account. The Service is intended to be set up and managed by a parent or legal guardian. The Chrome extension is intended to be installed on a device used by a minor under the parent's supervision.
You agree to use ParentalView only for its intended purpose: managing your own child's YouTube viewing. You must not:
ParentalView uses AI (powered by Anthropic's Claude) to evaluate video content. You acknowledge that:
ParentalView interacts with YouTube's publicly available web pages. YouTube may change its website structure at any time, which could temporarily disrupt the Service. We do not guarantee uninterrupted compatibility with YouTube. ParentalView is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube or Google.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.
ParentalView is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law:
You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the extension and deleting your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of material changes via the web app.
