What concerns matter to YOUR family?

We'll suggest common concerns based on age, but you decide what matters.

Not sure? Pick the closest age. You'll customize on the next screen.

How we protect your child's privacy

Please read before we link your child's device. See exactly what we see — and never see →

What we collect from your child's device
A random device ID, YouTube video IDs they view, and timestamps.
What we never collect
Name, email, age, photo, location, or browsing outside YouTube.
How we use it
To enforce the rules you set and show you an activity log. We don't sell data or share it with advertisers.
How long we keep it
Activity older than 90 days is automatically deleted.
Your rights
You can unlink any device or delete your entire account anytime in Settings.

To verify you're an adult, we place a 50¢ card verification charge — refunded immediately. This is required by children's privacy law (COPPA); it is not a payment.

Your family's values

Start from a family style, then make it yours — everything stays editable.

When a video is borderline

Balanced: blocks what a parent with your rules would expect blocked.

You can add more rules anytime in your dashboard.

Link your child's device

Nothing is checked until the extension is running. These steps happen on your child's computer, not this one.

Step 1
On your child's computer, open Chrome and install the ParentalView extension.
Step 2
Click the ParentalView icon in the Chrome toolbar.
Step 3
Type the code above. From then on, YouTube on that computer is checked against your rules.

No rush. Your code is waiting in Settings for whenever you're at your child's computer.
